Mithun lifetime trustee of Phalke Academy

Mithun Chakraborty is now appointed as the Lifetime Trustee of Dada Saheb Phalke Academy. The Academy already has Santosh Singh Jain, Govind Swaroop, Pahlaj Nihalani, Sanjay Patel, Sangram Shirke, Neena Jalan and Ram Gopal Gupta as Lifetime Trustees.
A delegation of trustees and other members including Chandra Shekhar, Jagdish Sharma and Ram Mohan met Mithun Chakraborty at his residence and following the long discussions, chalked out a plan for Dada Saheb Phalke Jayanti celebrations and Phalke Academy awards presentation event.
