Rehan Khan, the actor who made his debut with the forgettable Jaana-Let’s Fall In Love, is on the seventh heaven these days and he has every reason to be so, the reason being that two of his films are being readied for release.
When Bollywood Hungama spoke to Rehan about these films, he said, “They are Sangeeth Sivan’s horror-flick titled, Click, in which I play a character named Tarun, who happens to be Shreyas Talpade’s best friend and what happens in our lives is what the film is all about. There is also a camera that plays an important role in this film. The film is tentatively supposed to release in May this year.” As for Anjum Rizvi’s Fast Forward, it’s a film about ‘Hip-Hop’ dance in which he plays the lead with Akshay Kapoor (of Alag fame) playing his friend. Besides them, there is also Vinod Khanna, Mahesh Manjrekar and two heroines, Bhavna and Sabeena, who make their debut in this film. Zaigham Ali Sayyed directs Fast Forward with Sonia Jaffer’s choreography. Rehan plays a character named Rishi.
Fast Forward is basically a rags to riches story about Rishi (Rehan Khan) and is more like a modern day ‘Westside(musical) Story’, whereby it’s battle of the boys , i.e. ‘Boys of Nallasopara’ versus the ‘Boys of Worli Sea Face’.
