Meera is back with Bhatt's Shohrat

Bhatts are all set to start their next film Shohrat - The Dark Side of Fame, for which Mahesh Bhatt has already signed Pakistani actress Meera.
Shohrat - The Dark Side of Fame is loosely inspired from the English film Sunset Boulevard. However, the script writer, Shagufta Rafique is still working on script. Shohrat will commence in December.
According to Mahesh Bhatt, Shohrat depicts dark side of Bollywood. It deals with street fights, casting couch, sexual betrayals, etc. It shows how the reality of Bollywood is much grimier than it appears. The story focuses on a top actress who is gravitating towards anonymity.
Meera will play the leading lady while the leading man is yet to be finalized. It is believed that Bhatts are in talks with Emraan Hashmi and Muzamil Ibrahim to play the male lead.
