October, November get hotter

This Diwali [9th November] is only getting bigger! Initially, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s SAAWARIYA was confirmed for this date. Later, news filtered in that Shah Rukh Khan is keen to release OM SHANTI OM in Diwali. And now comes the news that a keenly anticipated film, directed by a successful name, has been shifted to this date. Although the producers have yet to issue a statement to this effect, the talk in the industry has already gathered momentum.
Similarly, JODHAA AKBAR [UTV, Ashutosh Gowariker] and LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG [Yash Raj] were the two biggies slated for release in October. Now add one more biggie: Tips’ RACE, directed by Abbas-Mustan. Starring Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna, the film is racing towards completion to meet the October deadline.
