After shooting on a yacht for one of the scenes in Awarapan, director Mohit Suri was standing near the edge of the yacht smoking a cigarette, when one of his leading ladies, the sultry model, Mrinalini Sharma (rumoured to be seeing newcomer Tushar Jalota, also being launched by the Vishesh Films banner in Mahesh Bhatt's Showbiz) pushed him into the open sea.

Mercifully, Mohit never got angry because he shares a great rapport with Minty (as he fondly calls her) and knows that what she did was in complete jest.

When we asked him about the incident, he laughed, "Yeah, it happened in Pattaya. The water was deep and pretty rough but thankfully I know how to swim! I was drenched by the time I came back to the yacht. One of my crew members was kind to give me a pair of track pants and t-shirt to change into!"

Talking about how Minty got signed up for the role of Reema Zaidi in Awarapan, Mohit states, "We auditioned a number of girls and her audition was the best of the lot. Watch her in the film - you won't believe she's a newcomer."
