The movie is not a bad fare, but its very hard to figure out how or why the movie is become such a big blockbuster?
No doubt brilliant performances from Akshay, Javed Jaffery and Om Puri make it an enjoyable ride, but seriously the movie is not THAT good to deserve 4 stars. The business that this movie is doing is solely because of all the hype and publicity the movie has created wat before its release, nothing else. It is just like a usual Akshay masala comedy. If it were to be compared with another masala entertainer like OSO, then definately OSO is better, but like I mentioned Singh is Kinng is doing extra ordinary business just because of all the hype. Theres nothing extra ordinary in the film itself.
What I liked about the movie:
Performances, especially from Javed Jaffery.
What I didn't like about the movie:
Nothing new. It feels like the the sequel of all the rest of Akshay's masala entertainers like Welcome and Namastey London Heyy Babyy etc.
