God Tussi Great Ho is a film, which have to be watched out for two reasons, Priyanka-Salmaan combo after Mujse Shadi Karonge and second, its different plotline. Its a nice backline, "what would you do when you bacame GOD"
The film starts with AP (Salmaan), un unsatisfied man, who has many problems in his life, include: his family , profession and love matters. All came worst when Rocky (Sohail) came into his life as his competitors both professionally and also to take his love, Aalia (Priyanka). Salmaan has been understood by only his mom, and not by his Dad (Anupam Kher). All changes, when he met God (Amithab Bachchan). Now he have ten days to change the world as GOD.
The plotline, seems really good, but Director Afzal Khan failed to make an impact, as the way he handles the film. The film is loosing the compact. Second minus points is again, the way to present the film. The dialouges are illogical: When we believe our faith, we have to believe totally. Its very deep to think "Why the world is not peace,when God can do everything". The message appear to be good, "that's people who fight and make this world inpeaceful". But He loses to explain well in the film. Then comes here, third minus, The God, came with complete Suit. And The way to Heaven is on the 18th floor of the Hotel. Now another minus is can somebody creat the write ya wrong chair? Its between superstition and science. Its the major failure point of the film.
The dialouges are the repeat style of David Dhawan's "Mujse Shadi Karonge" and "Partner". The script is so so ok. The main problem, the film divided into three parts. The 1st half goes well, second half is another interesting story, and the climax, which is totally different. The double repeated scenes here with double solution.
The music is so-so, the best is Lal Chunariya. But the music comes in un-necessary place in the films.
Salmaan repeat the same role pf angry man from MSK. There's no new in his caracter, as well as in his acting too. He's jjust average after two big Comedy "MSK" and "Partner".
This time, SOhail has replace Akki. He's excellent and funny. He's the most powerful pacages of the film. Watch his expressions, they are fantistique. Priyanka can only let's us feel, she's in the film by her introducting scene and the love and lust change scene. She's got no scoop. First, Love story 2050, now GTGH, what's she doing? We wish to see her in better roles.
Amithab Bachchan is in inthinkable role, which make him let down again.
Anupam Kher is another actoor with wonderful expression. His role is one of the bests to watch out in his whole career. Rajpal is funny as usual.
On the whole, Salmaan, Tussi flop ho! In short, the film failed to leave good impressions. If you are Salmaan-Priyanka fans, don't watch it. You may change your mind. Watch this film for Anupam Kher and Sohail Khan. A below average film as it best.
