I don't know whats happened with the Bollywood Hungama Music Critic that he has given the album 2 stars..! This is the best A R Rahman's album ever...listen to the songs...

The greatest album ever by Mr. A.R.Rahman.
Great emperor song with classical melody followed with soulful quavalli and love song.
Hats off to Javed Akhtar for fabulous lyrics.

Other than Jashn-e-bahaaraa nine of the songs appealed to me. These songs may work in the movie but they were painfully unbearable to listen
