Produced & directed by the Ace Stunt Director Ravi Dewan, Annarth is based on underworld. The film stars Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt (sp. app.), Preeti Jhangiani, Ashutosh Rana, Johny Lever, Shwetha Menon, Tinnu Anand & introduces new-finds Gautam & Vinod Kambli.

The movie is about two brothers Sunil Shetty (Jimmy) & Ashutosh Rana (Raghav) with Raghav playing the elder brother, an ambitious underworld Don. Jimmy is the devoted brother who carries out all his brother's work. Preeti Jhangiani (Preeti) plays their sister, who wants to stay well away from their underworld activities. She is a model & a famous video actress. She is in love with her childhood sweetheart played by Gautam (Sameer).

Vinod Kambli (Bandya) plays a fun loving character, who gets into trouble with the rival gang. Jimmy tries to defend him and in the whole fracas, Bandya gets killed. Things come to a head when Jimmy becomes an embarrassment for his elder brother Raghav.

Sanjay Dutt (Iqbal Danger) goes to jail for three months on a minor offence. When he is released, he finds his sweetheart Shwetha Menon (Khatun) has taken on another boyfriend. So in a fit of jealousy, he murders her boyfriend and surrenders to the cops. He is sentenced to fourteen years rigorous imprisonment. In the prison, he starts writing “Shayari”, all based on bewafai and unfaithfulness. Soon his poems are published and he becomes well known. After he is released from jail, he starts a bar called “BEWAFA BAR”, where only broken hearts can come and entertain themselves; money throwing on girls is strictly prohibited.

Johny Lever plays a video director Ben Bose. He is responsible for turning Preeti into a pop star and believes that she is as much in love with him as he is with her. That leads to a lot of misunderstanding and a lot of laughs too.

The film has music by Anand Raj Anand and lyrics by Dev Kohli and is likely to hit the screens on November 1st 2002.
