Your hands are tied - so that you can't switch off your music system !!
Your mouth is gagged - so that you can't cry for help !!
Your room is locked - so that no one can rescue you !!
Your system is playing Parwana - Idea of PERFECT torture !!
You listen to the opening track of the album - 'Pyaar To Hota Hai Pyaar' by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik and say - "Yaar,
theek to hai gana - bura nahi hai !! Why is this guy scaring me??"
Hold on dear !! Do not jump to conclusions as this is the only number that trapped you in the room so that you do not run away right in the beginning. Once you are through with this so-very-functional 'n' tired 'n' bored 'n' unoriginal rendering by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, you don't even realise that Sanjeev Darshan and Sameer had some other plans up their sleeves to test your patience. That's because your worst fears comes true when immediately Vinod Rathod comes in his own with 'Duniya Mein Aaye Ho' - an utterly boring song aimed at 'you-don't-know-who' !! Precious energy need not be wasted at describing this song that speaks about 'Do-something-in-life-before-you-die-blah-blah and more blah!!' You are surprised that how would Ajay Devgan be lip-synching to such a number after some great work he has done last year and even 2003 seemingly good with Bhoot and Qayamat in the pipeline !!
And no, please don't tell us that it is the film's lead heroine Amisha Patel on whom the number 'Pallu Gira Diya' is choreographed as it is a utmost downmarket song composed in recent times. An entire number dedicated on the glory of 'pallu' and the 'rise and fall' of it, it is 'sung' by Jaspinder Narula ( we can't believe it), Farid Sabri and Sarika. An absolute downer in an album that is being surprisingly marketed by HMV. 'Deva Ho' is another ill-composed and tired number about the
devotion for 'Ganpatti Bappa', but the devotion is sorely missing in this track which is a direct rip-off of 'Allah Hoo'. Vinod Rathod and Fareed Sabri attempt in making the track lively, but in vain.
Till this time, you are on the verge of a nervous breakdown but director Deepak Bahry pities on you and persuade Sanjeev Darshan to make 'Pyaar To Hota Hai Pyaar' resurface as 'Tumko Hi Chahenge Hum', this time written by Afsar (?) and sung by newfinds Saud Khan and Prabha Bharti. Sadly, much can't be commented on these newcomers as they do not get enough scope in this average number to showcase their talent. But they don't do a bad job either, for certain !!
Finally comes an item number 'Jindri' by Udit Narayan and Preeti Uttam. This brings an end to this 100% forgettable album and we won't be discussing much about this last number because neither do you seem to be interested in knowing about this and nor are we.
A complete failure !!
