23 of 25 people found this review helpful The album ends with Kachchi Kaliyaan, by Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi, KK and Shreya. Despite a bad remix background, the singers give this song the vim it requires. The lyrics are fresh and fun, and if this song wasn't trying hard to be the album's only club-friendly number, it would have been much improved.

10 of 10 people found this review helpful The album opens with the track Hum To Aise Hain that talks about the beauty of the city of Banaras where the film is set and how two sisters (Rani Mukherjee and Konkona Sen Sharma) relate to their hometown. As the voice of the sisters, while Shreya Ghoshal sounds her sweet self, Sunidhi Chauhan's vocals have an unusual sugar-coated feel to it - a pleasant change that she offers us occasionally from her regular item song singing.

Laaga Chunari Mein Daag has no boring number but at the same time also doesn’t boast of any outstanding track either. Which sums up to say that all the tracks are fairly good! With the songs being situational, it will catch up with time. The music of Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is free of stains though not immaculate.

KK's singing is effortless and Shreya does justice. At one stage, the song's mood changes and we hear Shreya's digitized voice with some special effects. Apart from this, the song maintains its mood of light-heardedness throughout. Swanand Kirkire's words are fresh...
