0 of 2 people found this review helpful Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic currently stands as a serviceable children's film, with excellent special effects used haphazardly around a half-dozen old school Hollywood plots, but with no evidence of actual heart.

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Rani Mukerji unfortunately is the biggest disappointment of the year. She is a brilliant actress but her performance in TPTM is completely off the mark.

2 of 3 people found this review helpful Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic (TPTM) begins with young Ranbir Talwar (Saif Ali Khan) who goes through the trauma of losing everyone that he loves and is close to – his best friend, his mother and his professor at boarding school.

2 of 2 people found this review helpful The magic of TPTM works as everyone yearns for love and wishes that their beloved would never leave them but what happens when they do? Do you stop living your life? Do you stop smiling forever? One has to move on and find happiness in someone else’s joy.

2 of 2 people found this review helpful The film revolves around Ranbir Talwar (Saif Ali Khan ) a rich businessman who in an accident is responsible for the death of a husband and wife. The judge orders Ranbir to officially be the guardian of these kids else he would have to spend 20 years in jail. The bunch of 4 kids soon move to Ranbir’s house with a prime motive of revenge.

THODA rona dhona. Thoda tweeny pranks. And thoda special effects. Ten minutes into the movie and you know what's up next for the suave biz tycoon Ranbeer Talwar (Saif Ali Khan), who walks out of award ceremonies (of course, with awards) even before his name is actually called out for.

1 of 1 people found this review helpful The most commendable thing about 'Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic' is that it makes the most ludicrous of scenes engaging and fun to watch.

1 of 1 people found this review helpful The film has no twists and even though it's predictable, it's still watchable and enjoyable! Most of the audiences, who have no expectations from the film will be highly impressed especially after YRF have delivered a number of flops recently.

The movie's story is somewhat strange inasmuch it revolves around a businessman who accidentally kills a man leaving four kids to survive. The judge punishes Ranbeer (Saif Ali Khan), to look after the deceased's kids or face the prison term.

Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic is not great cinema, but it's a completely watchable children's film. As a movie it's just about average, but bonus points for the kids who keep your interest alive throughout.

Saif Ali Khan is a delight to watch in his character that transitions from the stone hearted bachelor into a soft person. The transformation is believable and the chemistry with the child artists is as real as it gets.

The first half of Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, although slow, will appeal mostly to the kids between the age group of 4 - 12.

thoda pyaar thoda magic is a crash course in moral science for second graders and below. And I'm pretty sure this target audience is going to thoroughly enjoy the lesson because it has song and dance, cartoons and naughtiness.

The direction of Kunal Kohli has matured over the years and he has shown this quality in relating this simple, uncomplicated story with dexterity.

To be fair to Yashraj Films, this movie will undo a lot of damage, salvaging box-office collections all through the country. Reason: this film is based on kids, and it cuts across all age groups.

The problem with TPTM is the first half, its slow at times, takes a long time to gather momentum and picks up only after interval.

It's heartening to see the hard work and thought that has gone behind the colourful and fantastical VFX in Thoda Pyaar, Thoda Magic.
