5 of 6 people found this review helpful First half of the movie is fun to watch, especially for children. The songs are also shot for children. The second half is also fun but become emotional by end and dragging at times. But no part of the movie is boring. It's a real fun watch especially for children.

3 of 3 people found this review helpful In a nutshell, the film offers something new and unconventional and has the full potential of doing better at the box office during this season of children’s holiday. Though the film belongs to kids, it has enough emotional ingredients to lure family audiences. An excellent fare.

1 of 1 people found this review helpful Bhoothnath has everything for all age groups – fun for the kids and emotions for the adults. Aman has done a great job as the naughty kid and Big B is simply brilliant. From his emotions as a ghost trying to frighten the world to coming to terms that a child has him fooled to his final extremely emotional journey...

Bhootnath has comedy, drama, emotions and the performances are brilliant. It has something in it for every generation. Do catch it this weekend. At the box-office, at lot depends on word-of-mouth. Should do well.

Bhootnath does have its share of flaws, primarily the second half which gets a little stretched out with the addition of songs. But, in any case it's a movie worth watching this summer and might provide for some good lessons on forgiveness...

Bhoothnath surely deserves credit for not taking its younger target audience for granted. Well executed "tributes" to the animation used in the Harry Potter series, ensures that the kids get a quality product. If only, they had maintained it through to the end, if only...

The movie belongs to Amitabh Bachchan and Aman Siddiqui. Both deliver super performances and their chemistry itself is worth the price of the movie ticket...

1 of 1 people found this review helpful Aman as Banku is likeable. Comparisons are likely to be made with TAARE ZAMEEN PAR star Darsheel Safary. To be fair to Aman, he does a decent job. Juhi Chawla plays her sweet self yet again and Shah Rukh Khan in a guest appearance adds his special touch to the proceedings...

1 of 1 people found this review helpful Bhootnath promises something for the entire family. A film that the children will enjoy, adults will applause and critics will give a standing ovation to the debutant director for his art of storytelling.

The rest of the film is predictably about this kid and the dynamic he develops with this ghost, with this angel who needs a manicure. And while there is absolutely nothing you haven't seen before in innumerable films like Blackbeard's Ghost...

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Unfortunately Bhoothnath gets lost in the wilderness. It starts off as a perfect entertainer for kids. There is even a song sung by the kids Hum to Hain Aandhi dancing adult style, which borrows heavily from Westside Story the cult Hollywood film of the '60s.

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Time passes (slowly), then a tiny tot tumbles on that staircase. From a bad ghost you become a good ghost. Mercy be, you even change into slightly better suits. Come come, is there a darzi for ghosts in Goa? Did you pay by credit card?

The first half of the movie is filled with youthful enthusiasm that will have both the young and young at heart smiling and giggling in their seats. The special effects were simple yet marvelous, and the chemistry between Banku and Bhoothnath is clearly evident in every frame...
