Nana Patekar is shown in a financial mess, as he doesn't even have money to pay for the electricity bill or his son’s school fees. But he manages to pay for a cell phone and a landline. How come?

The police seize Nana Patekar’s taxi and they have obviously taken away his license too. Later in the film, after a short time lapse, he’s shown driving another taxi. How can anybody lend him another taxi without checking his license? When policemen frisk Nana Patekar for locker keys, why can't they find the currency notes given to him by John? Nana later uses the same money to pay his son’s school fees.
