Rohan Sippy's Bluffmaster releases this Friday. Check out some interesting facts about the movie. And let us assure you that we are not bluffing here.
- Bluffmaster! Isn't that an unusual title? But there was another movie by the name Bluff Master way back in 1963, directed by Manmohan Desai and starring Shammi Kapoor and Saira Banu.
- This is Rohan Sippy's second film after Kuch Naa Kaho also starring Abhishek Bachchan. Incidentally, Rohan Sippy's father Ramesh Sippy directed Abhishek's father Amitabh Bachchan in Sholay, Shakti, Shaan and Akela.
- Abhishek Bachchan and Rohan Sippy are school friends.
- Initially Abhishek was supposed to do Riteish Deshmukh's role while Sanjay Dutt was slated to do Abhishek's. As Sanjay opted out due to date problems Abhishek stepped into Sanjay's shoes.
- Rohan Sippy seems to have a fixation of casting Miss Worlds in his film. His first film starred Aishwarya Rai. For this film also, Rohan had earlier approached Aishwarya but since she didn't have the requisite dates she was replaced by another ex-Miss World Priyanka Chopra.
- The music of Bluffmaster is quite interesting and has 4 remixes. The first is the title song of Sabse Bada Rupaiya which was picturized on the late comedian star Mehmood. The others include Tadbir Se Bigde Hui Taqdeer, Do Aur Do Paanch and a combination of Eena Meena Deeka and Shayad Meri Shaadi Ka Khyaal titled 'Indi-Yarn'.
- Abhishek Bachchan turned singer with this film when he rendered Right Here Right Now alongside Sunidhi Chauhan.
- This is the second time Abhishek is playing the role of a conman after this year's hit Bunty Aur Babli.
- Provogue had apparently struck a deal with the makers of Bluffmaster but it got called off at the last moment.
- Riteish Deshmukh, Nana Patekar, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan are all starring together for the first time in a film.
